Vista Upgrade Nightmare

Hi about a month ago I upgraded my PC to Windows Vista; however, this has to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Since I received my upgrade disc in the post and installed it, my PC has encountered nothing but problems.

All drivers have been fully upgraded; I have not left any stone unturned. No matter what, I still find myself having problems; my PC takes so long to load up and programs take an age to open.

I am thinking of restoring my PC to how I first got it, oh how I miss XP.

Has anyone else had the same trouble as me?

  1. I had and still get problems when my computer goes into sleep mode, some usb devices do not work when I wake the PC unless I unplug them and put them back in again.

Other than that I do love Vista a lot, love the new look, security and features.
I guess this is the same old rule of “WE ALL KNOW WAIT 6 MONTHS BEFORE UPGRADING”.
Wait for the first service pack and hardware drivers.
